1. Overview

The protection of your personal data is very important to me. This website operates entirely without tracking cookies, advertising trackers, or contact forms. Below I explain what data is collected for purely technical reasons when you visit this website.

2. Data Controller

The party responsible for data processing on this website is the person named in theLegal Notice.

3. Hosting (Vercel)

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). When you visit this website, Vercel automatically collects server log files (e.g., IP address, browser type, date and time of access) to provide the website securely and reliably. This data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Data transfer to the US is secured by Vercel's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. Vercel's Data Processing Addendum (DPA), which is incorporated into Vercel's Terms of Service, governs this processing as required by Art. 28 GDPR.

4. Vercel Web Analytics

I use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how many visitors my site has. This tool is designed to be privacy-friendly: it stores no cookies on your device, and IP addresses are anonymized (hashed) before storage. It is not possible to trace this data back to you personally. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Vercel Speed Insights

I use Vercel Speed Insights to measure the loading performance of my site (e.g., Core Web Vitals). Like the analytics above, it is designed to be privacy-friendly: it stores no cookies on your device and the recorded data points are anonymous and cannot be tied to an individual visitor or IP address. The data (such as route, browser, device type, country, and performance timings) is processed by Vercel and is not shared with third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. External Links & Platforms

My website contains links to external platforms (such as YouTube and Buy Me a Coffee). If you click on these links, you leave my website. I have no influence on what data these platforms collect. The privacy policies of the respective providers apply.

7. Your Rights & Right to Object

You have the right to receive information about your stored personal data free of charge at any time, as well as its origin, recipients, and the purpose of data processing (Art. 15 GDPR). You also have the right to request the correction, blocking, or deletion of this data. Furthermore, you have the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR): If data processing is based on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time. However, since I do not store any personal user data directly (like names or emails) and IP addresses are anonymized immediately, there is generally no identifiable data that I could provide to you, delete, or block.
